Nugnutts

Has anyone else seen this "Nugnutts" ad campaign by McDonald's? Doesn't it seem ill-advised? First off, it sounds way too much like "numbnuts" which isn't a good thing. Then the next thing you might think of is testicles, and that REALLY isn't good when the ad is for something that is very similar looking to said part of the male anatomy. It is another one of these ad campaigns that makes me immediately picture the pitch: "It'll be super hip! It sounds like urban slang!". Who thinks these things will catch on as phrases that people say? Like I'm going to go to McDonald's with a friend of mine and I'll order chicken nuggets and he'll be like "Dude, you're a Nugnutt too? High Five!". Seems unlikely.

Burger King, we need to talk about your dessert options...

Burger King, you know I love you, but you need to come up with something to offer for dessert. Wendy's has the frosty and McDonald's has the McFlurry. Neither are necessarily my favorite dessert around, but in a pinch, they'll do. All you've got is Dutch Apple Pie, Hershey's Sundae Pie, and an Oreo Sundae Shake. And they all look gross. Come on. Lets work on it.
